Cordoba House
I haven’t been as angry about a political issue (aside from the Prop 8 debacle) as I am right now about the racist reactions of the Cordoba House construction in Lower Manhattan. To have conservatives flip what will be a peaceful interfaith community center into a terrorist training ground pissing on the memorial of the WTC is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.
This is America. Land of religious freedom and brotherhood of man. To equate Muslim Americans as radical terrorists is dangerous and to use it as a political wedge issue this election year murders the spirit and integrity of the peaceful intentions of this community center.
Did anyone see the newest episode of The Real World last night? In typical fashion, there is one incredibly dramatic member of the cast, and that award goes to Ryan. He is a homophobic drama queen who states that he feels like “killing himself” when a gay man touches him. Watch the action, here.
